Julie Supports Prostate Cancer Awareness Week

Julie Morgan, MP for Cardiff North, attended a reception held by the Prostate Cancer Research Foundation charity in the Houses of Parliament today.

Julie Morgan MP said:

“I was very pleased to be able to go along and support my colleague, Chris Bryant MP, who was hosting this reception. I know that he is running the London Marathon to raise funds for the charity.

“During this week especially, it’s very important to raise awareness about the dangers of prostate cancer. It kills one man every hour in the UK alone and is now the most commonly diagnosed male cancer in the UK – over 30,000 men were diagnosed just last year.

“I would encourage all men to become more aware of the disease and to take some time this week to learn more about it.”
