Julie Morgan MP's Private Member's Bill on sunbeds got over another hurdle in the race to become law before the general election. It was introduced in the House of Lords by Baroness Finlay of Llandaff and received support from all parties for its Second Reading.

Julie Welcomes Flood Prevention for Whitchurch Brook
Julie Morgan, MP for Cardiff North, today welcomed the award of £451,000 for a flood defence project for Whitchurch Brook. Jane Davidson AM, the Minister for Environment, Sustainability and Housing, today announced £6.1 million in European funding for 8 Flood and Coastal Defence projects in total.

Julie Welcomes Rwanda’s Inclusion in the Commonwealth
Julie Morgan, MP for Cardiff North, has welcomed Rwanda’s inclusion as the 54th member of the Commonwealth. The decision was made at the Commonwealth summit in Trinidad and Tobago at the weekend. It is only the second country not previously part of the British Empire to become part of the Commonwealth.
